Holiday Season, iPhone 13 Sold More Than 40 Million Units

In September 2021, Apple launched the iPhone 13 series consisting of the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max in September 2021.

Since its launch, sales of this smartphone have been fairly good all over the world. In fact, according to research notes on this Cupertino-based technology giant, they managed to sell tens of millions of units of their newest cellphone during the holiday season at the end of 2021.

Reporting us from Gizmochina, a research note by analyst Daniel Ives of Wedbush via PhoneArena says that Apple sold more than 40 million units of the iPhone 13 model in the 2021 holiday season.

The same note also predicts that Apple will reach a market capitalization of USD 3 trillion. This is evident where recently Apple has just become the first public company in the world to reach a market valuation of USD 3 trillion .

Analysts predict that iPhone 13 sales will continue to grow in 2022. That's because tech companies were unable to keep up with demand in Q4 2021.

Demand exceeded supply by 12 million units in the last quarter. Therefore, the supply will decrease in the next two quarters (Q1 2022 and Q2 2022) until the shortage decreases in Semester 1 2022. In other words, the iPhone 13 series will continue to be in demand until the launch of the iPhone 14 family.
