Konami Dives into NFT World, Releases Castlevania Series

 


The appeal of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) is spreading to various parties, including Konami. This popular game company has just entered the NFT world.

Konami Digital Entertainment Limited has just announced plans to launch the Konami Memorial NFT collection, which features 14 unique artworks from the Castlevania series which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary.



In a written statement, Konami Memorial NFT is a new initiative to share content that has long been loved by players around the world.


This artwork includes some of the latest game scenes, BGM, and images from the entire history of the Castlevania series. The complete collection will be auctioned worldwide on popular marketplace OpenSea starting from January 13, 2022.


The following is the collection of NFT Castlevania released by Konami:


Castlevania - Pixel Art Dracula Castle

Original pixel art, newest image for this collection. The work is based on the map of Dracula's castle from the first Castlevania game, with appropriate stages and characters to carry out the action.



Castlevania - Vampire Killer

An iconic music track from the first level (Block 1) of Castlevania, featured as a video along with many in-game scenes.



Castlevania - Highlights

Film highlights edited with various gameplay footage, focusing on the scenes that will most impress Castlevania fans. This film shrinks the story of the legendary vampire hunter, Simon Belmont, and his raid on Dracula's castle to 3 minutes 34 seconds.




Considering that Konami Memorial NFT is the company's first project in the world of NFT and blockchain technology, Konami said it will continue to innovate and develop it.
