Samsung Produces 300 Million HP During 2021

Samsung is estimated to produce 300 million mobile phones by 2021, of which 238.88 million are self -produced.

Then the remaining 60 million units were produced by their partner companies such as Wintech and Huaqin. From this amount of production it can be estimated how many units of mobile phones are shipped, which is slightly lower than the total production.

This is because newly produced units usually take one to two months to finally ship, while distributors can usually only store a smaller number of phones than can be produced.

Of all the units produced, 25 million units of them are the Galaxy S21 series, almost the same as the Galaxy S20 units produced by Samsung in 2020. In fact, 2020 is said to be worse than 2021 in terms of mobile phone sales.

In addition, the Galaxy S20 will still have to share the market with the Galaxy Note line in 2020. Meanwhile, for 2021 Samsung will no longer market the line. For information, Samsung usually ships about 35-40 million units of Galaxy S every year.

Reported by The Elec, Monday (17/1/2022), the unsatisfactory sales of the Galaxy S21 are one of them due to production problems that occurred in Vietnam due to the pandemic. Also, of course, the scarcity of chips globally also has an impact on this.

Samsung's largest sales in 2021 will come from mid -range phones such as the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series. This report does not mention how many Fold and Flip series are produced, although in some other analyzes, the sales performance of the product line is quite good.

For 2022 Samsung plans to ship 334 million units of mobile phones, of which 285 million units will be self -produced and the rest will be produced by their partner companies.
