OPPO Cooperates with Hasselblad to Develop Camera Technology in the Find X Series


 As a technology brand, OPPO continues to develop partnerships to improve the quality of its products. This time, OPPO announced its partnership with one of the legendary camera manufacturers, Hasselblad.

This collaboration is carried out in the next three years to develop advanced camera technology that will be embedded in the Find OPPO series. Both will focus on developing new breakthroughs in color technology to create a mobile photography experience or what they call mobile imaging technology.


Previously, OPPO had also partnered with OnePlus to maximize efficiency and improve user experience. With the imaging technology to be developed through the OnePlus and Hasselblad partnership, OPPO will take this strategic partnership to a corporate level for the OPPO and OnePlus brands.


"Given the successful collaboration of OnePlus and Hasselblad over the past year, we have mutually agreed to take this partnership to the next level. This is done in order to bring the legendary Hasselblad mobile imaging experience to more users around the world. Color performance in cameras is a focus main product OPPO and Hasselblad. We are very enthusiastic to develop the Hasselblad Camera for Mobile together," said OPPO's Chief Product Officer Pete Lau in a written statement, Monday (21/2/2022).


OPPO is a smartphone manufacturer known for delivering world-class mobile photography experiences. After the launch of the MariSilicon X NPU which is its own development technology, OPPO is now committed to creating a world-class photography experience through collaboration with Hasselblad. Both plan to present a more natural color appearance by utilizing Natural Color Calibration technology.



In this three-year partnership, OPPO and Hasselblad will start by refining software for natural color tuning. The result of the collaboration of these two technology companies is "OPPO | Hasselblad Camera for Mobile" which will be introduced for the first time as the latest feature in OPPO's Find X series in the first quarter of 2022.
