World War III (World War 3) seems to have started. This is at least what US investor and billionaire Bill Ackman says, in the midst of Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukraine.
"In January 2020, I had nightmares about a potential pandemic, but everyone seemed to think I was crazy. I'm having the same nightmare right now," Ackman said via Twitter Saturday referring to the Russia-Ukraine war. /2022).
"World War III may have started, but we are slow to recognize it," he stressed again.
He argues, the failure of the West to stop previous Russian occupations such as in Crimea or Georgia is the cause. This gave Russian President Vladimir Putin the courage to take more.
Indeed, the West has controlled itself by only supplying weapons to Ukraine as an effort to help the war on the ground without being directly involved. However, this needs to be watched out for because Putin could be provoked and issue nukes.
"Then what do we do when (Putin) wants more?" asked Ackman.
