Leaked Xiaomi Mi Band 7, Will Have AOD and Bigger Screen

The Xiaomi Mi Band is one of the most popular smartbands in the world since its debut in 2014. This year, Xiaomi is predicted to launch the Mi Band 7 and leaked specifications are beginning to be revealed.

This leak comes from a Magical Unicorn tipster who has a fairly accurate track record. This leak reveals that the Mi Band 7 will carry the code 'L66' and have the model numbers M2129B1 and M2130B1.

When it introduced the Mi Band 6 last year, Xiaomi added a lot of new features including a bigger and brighter color screen, an SpO2 sensor, more sports modes, and a bigger battery.

Based on this new leak, the Mi Band 7 will also get lots of new features such as a bigger screen with 192 x 490p resolution, always-on display (AOD) support for some watch faces, and new sports modes like aerobics and zumba.

Furthermore, this leak claims the Mi Band 7 will have a built-in GPS feature. But the existence of this feature is still a question mark considering that the leaked Mi Band 6 firmware also revealed a built-in GPS feature, but the final product does not come with this feature.

Mi Band 7 will also carry the Smart Alarm feature. This new feature will wake users from light sleep automatically about 30 minutes before the alarm time goes off, as quoted from XDA Developers.

Finally, Mi Band 7 will also carry a new Power Savings feature that can increase battery life.

Xiaomi hasn't officially announced the Mi Band 7 yet. But considering the Mi Band 6 launched in late March 2021, it looks like they'll be sharing more information in the next few weeks.
