Samsung Galaxy A33, A53, and A73 Rumored to be Released March 17

The existence of the Samsung Galaxy A33, A53, and A73 has been leaked for a long time. These three mid-range phones have already passed certification in many countries and based on new leaks it looks like they will be released this month.

Based on the teaser uploaded by tipster Evan Blass on Twitter, Samsung seems to be holding a new Galaxy A launch event on March 17.

The teaser doesn't mention the name of the phone that will be released, but shows the letter 'A' in various styles. One of them indicates the ability of water resistance.

If you look at Samsung's launch calendar last year, they launched the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, and Galaxy A72 on the same date. So don't be surprised if many think the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 will be announced in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A33 will be the successor to the Galaxy A32 which was launched in February 2021. Samsung has also recently released the Galaxy A13 and A23 secretly, as quoted from Phone Arena, Sunday (13/3/2022).

Leaks about the Galaxy A33, A53, and A73 show that these three phones will carry specifications that are not much different from their predecessors but with newer chipsets.

The Galaxy A73 is predicted to carry a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a punch-hole design in the middle of the screen, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a fingerprint sensor below the screen. This phone will carry Snapdragon 778G which makes it support 5G networks.

Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy A73 will still use four rear cameras consisting of a 64 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide camera, and a 5 MP depth sensor. For the fourth camera, it is still a question mark, is it still using a telephoto camera or is it replaced with a 5 MP depth sensor.

Completing the rumored specifications, the Galaxy A73 is likely to have a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, IP67 rating, NFC and stereo speakers.

Next is the Galaxy A53 which will carry the Exynos 1280 mid-range chipset. The battery is 5,000 mAh which is slightly larger than the Galaxy A52, but the screen size will remain the same at 6.2 inches.

Finally, there is the Galaxy A33 which seems to be carrying the Exynos 1280 chipset but there is also the possibility of using the MediaTek Dimensity 720. In addition to the newer and faster chip, this phone will also be equipped with a water and dust resistance rating and 25W fast charging.
