Every morning, Disney World's Magic Kingdom holds a musical opening ceremony known to Disney fans as "Rope Drop". However, few visitors know that Disney chooses a special family to help open the Magic Kingdom every day.
The then-selected family can tour Main Street before Disney World opens to the public. If you want to be the "Family of the Day", you and your family must arrive early to Disney World, wear matching Disney gear, and show great enthusiasm.
Secret Inn inside Cinderella Castle
Originally, this secret inn was built for Walt Disney and his family. But sadly, Walt Disney died five years before Disney World officially opened. Since then, the secret inn has been turned into accommodation for special guests.
The rooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi, 17th century furniture, Cinderella mosaic floors made of 24-carat gold, and a clock that always stops at 11:59.
Unfortunately, this inn is not that easy to book. However, Disney will hold regular raffles to win the chance to stay one night at this inn.
Secret Tunnel Under Magic Kingdom
This secret tunnel is reserved for Disney World employees only. The tunnel is lined with many changing rooms, employee-only cafeterias, props storage, costumes, and various other backstage areas that visitors don't know about.
Different Scents Appearing at Disney World
When you visit the Pirates of the Caribbean area, you will smell the damp smell of gunpowder. However, when you visit the Main Street area, you will smell the aroma of freshly baked food.
Basically, Disney World uses a smellitzer machine that pumps various scents through hidden vents in the park. No wonder Disney World has a variety of different scents.
Kids Stay Happy Without Afraid to Get Lost
In busy amusement parks, it is possible that children will be out of reach of their parents. When Disney employees see a child who seems lost, they have been trained to turn the situation into an adventure of finding their way back to their parents. This method has proven to be effective in calming children's fears.
No need to worry, parents who have lost their child can contact the information center and all employees will help find their child.
Tradition Training for Employees
All employees must attend a traditional eight hour exercise before starting their job. The training includes a detailed history of The Walt Disney Company, a guide on how and when to create magical moments for guests, and more.
Being a Disney Princess Isn't Easy
