Blue Origin Is Successful Again Making 5 Earth Citizens Floating in Space


 Blue Origin successfully carried five passengers into space. This achievement seems to give a signal that space tourism can become pop culture in the future.

They boarded a New Shepard rocket and launched from West Texas, United States on Thursday morning local time.


As reported by CNN, the tourists were able to feel passing through the Karman line at an altitude of 100 km from the surface.




It lasted about 10 minutes and after that it returned to Earth safely. In fact, this passenger feels floating while looking at the outer space.


The five Earthlings who have experienced the sensation of space tourism are Blue Origin senior employee Gary Lai, former Party America CEO Sharon Hagle, SpaceKids Global Founder Marc Hagle who is also Sharon's husband, entrepreneur Jim Kitchen, and President of Commercial Space Technologies George Nield.


Especially for Lai, this opportunity to space is like a windfall for him. Because, initially Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson who flew but he withdrew for reasons that can not be explained.


It is not known how much money they have to spend to enjoy Blue Origin-style space tourism. Jeff Bezos' company has not publicly disclosed its fixed price per seat.



Meanwhile, Blue Origin's competitor, Virgin Galatic, which runs the space tourism business, charges USD 450 thousand per seat.
