Ramadan 2022 falls on Sunday (3/4). When Ramadan arrives, Muslims are happy because Allah SWT will multiply the reward in worship. Besides being multiplied, the chances of prayer being answered are also getting bigger.
In a hadith from Jabir bin Abdillah r.a., the Messenger of Allah said,
لِلّهِ لِّ اءَ النَّارِ شَهْرِ انَ ,وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ لِمٍ ا لَهُ
"Indeed, Allah frees some people from the fire of hell every day of the month of Ramadan, and every Muslim when he makes a prayer, it will be answered." (HR. Al Bazaar. Al Haitsami in Majma 'Az-Zawaid, 10: 14).
There are three efficacious times to pray during Ramadan, which if you pray at those three times then your prayer will be answered. So, at what time, huh? Here are three times that are efficacious when prayers are answered during Ramadan. Come on, see!
Suhoor time
Rasulullah saw said,
"Allah descends to the heavens of the world when the last third of the night remains. Allah says, "Whoever prays to Me, I will grant it. Whoever asks me I will give. Whoever asks Me for forgiveness, I will forgive." (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).
In addition, Ibn Hajar also explained that prayers and istighfar at dawn are easier to accept.
When Fasting
Imam Nawawi rahimahullah said, "It is Sunnah for people who fast to multiply prayers for the affairs of the hereafter and their world, also he can pray for what he wants, as well as don't forget to pray for goodness for Muslims in general." (Al-Majmu', 6:273)
Soa when fasting is a prayer that is prioritized to be answered because Allah SWT immediately gives the main reward for fasting performed by His servants.
Iftar Time
The Prophet said, "There are three people whose prayers are not rejected: (1) The righteous leader, (2) The person who fasts when he breaks his fast, (3) The prayer of the wronged person." (Narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah). The time of breaking the fast becomes an efficacious time to pray because the fasting person has completed his worship in a state of submission and humility.
So, those are the three times when prayers are answered during Ramadan. Come on, from now on, let's pray more. Happy fasting!
