Realme Pad Mini Released, Prices Start at USD 195

Realme has finally unveiled their newest tablet, the Realme Pad Mini, which was released in the Philippines with prices starting at USD 195.

The Realme Pad Mini is a tablet with an 8.7-inch screen with brains from Unisoc, the Unisoc T616 to be precise, which is an entry-level SoC with an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G57MP1 GPU.

The 8.7-inch screen has a resolution of 1340 x 800 LCD type. This screen has thin bezels on the edges but quite thick on the top and bottom. Even though it's cheap, Realme still equips this tablet with a camera.

On the back there is an 8 MP camera with F/2.0 without LED flash. While on the front there is a 5MP camera with an aperture of F/2.2, as quoted by us from GSM Arena, Tuesday (5/4/2022).

The Realme Pad Mini is equipped with a 6,400 mAh battery that supports 18W charging, and the charger is included in the sales package. Oh yes, this tablet also functions like a power bank because it has a reverse wired charging feature.

Regarding connections, there is WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB-C port and 3.5mm audio port. The weight of the tablet is 3.72 grams and its dimensions are 211.8 x 124.48 x 7.6 mm.

Currently, the Realme Pad Mini can be ordered at Lazada Philippines in Gray and Blue color options. The price is USD 195 for the 3GB/32GB WiFi LTE variant, and USD 235 for the 4GB/64GB WiFi LTE variant.

The presence of this mini-sized tablet was announced by Realme at the MWC 2022 last March. Vice President of Realme & President of Realme International Business Group Madhav Sheth said that currently Realme is carrying a '1 + 5 + T' ecosystem strategy consisting of mobile phones, audio, wearables, laptops, TVs and tablets.

"There will be a line of tablets from Realme. We have already launched a tablet that is about 11 inches or 12 inches in size," Madhav said in an interview with us ahead of Mobile World Congress 2022.

"We will also launch a 5G tablet and launch an entry-level tablet measuring 8 inches. So we will launch a complete line of tablets and laptops this year," he continued at the time.
