This is the Tarawih Prayer Procedure to Do Yourself at Home

Tarawih is a sunnah prayer whose law is muakad and is carried out every night during the month of Ramadan, and is prioritized to be done in congregation.

To be able to practice tarawih worship perfectly, it is necessary to know the correct tarawih prayer procedure. The following is the procedure for praying tarawih at home in a munfarid manner to be used as a reference.

Basically, the tarawih prayer is more important if it is done in the mosque in congregation. However, for those who are old, the Tarawih prayer can still be done alone or munfarid. Even if you do it yourself, the reward you get will not decrease even if you pray Tarawih at home.

There is no difference between the tarawih prayers at home in a munfarid manner and the tarawih prayers at the mosque in congregation, both in terms of reading and movement.

The difference is in the number of rak'ahs and reading intentions, namely the intention to perform the tarawih prayer alone or the intention when in congregation. Meanwhile, the number of tarawih prayers can be 8 rak'ahs with 2 greetings, or 20 rak'ahs with 10 greetings.

Allahumma innaka afuwwun kariim tukhibbul afwa fa'fuanni.

Meaning: O Allah, indeed You are Most Forgiving, who loves apologies, forgive me, the Most High.
