Last year, Acer made the big decision to introduce the Acer Vero series of laptops that use recycled materials such as ocean plastic in the construction of the laptop, and the first model to be seen in the series was the Acer Aspire Vero.
During the Acer Global Press Conference announcement event, Acer has introduced the latest computer that will enter this eco -friendly laptop series, and it is the Acer Veriton Vero, an AIO desktop computer that has just been announced.
The computer’s specifications include a 24-inch IPS screen display with a thin frame on all four sides with an 88 percent screen-to-frame ratio. It is powered by Alder Lake’s 12th-generation Intel CPU option with options up to Intel Core i9, DDR4 memory options up to 64GB and 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. In terms of graphics offerings, this Acer Veriton Vero computer is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce MX550 graphics card that is useful for high -resolution video viewing.
Just like the previous Acer Aspire Vero laptops, 30 percent of the Acer Veriton Vero's computer build is made of PCR (Post-Consumer Recyclable) plastic. Not only that, these computer keyboard and mouse accessories also come with a frame made of this PCR plastic.
In fact, this computer packaging box can be completely recycled, and just like the previous Vero series of laptops, this computer frame can also be opened for the purpose of upgrading or self-repair such as for memory modules and storage.
Powered by an Intel Alder Lake CPU means that this Acer Veriton Vero also comes with features seen on many modern computers such as built-in WiFi 6E support, as well as a webcam camera that supports Windows Hello login function as well as USB 3.2 Gen 2 plugs. × 2 with data transmission rates as fast as 20Gbps.
The Acer Veriton Vero computer is said to be available in certain markets starting this October, with the initial price tag seen starting from $ 799 (~ RM3500).
