Last week, we were ready to hear reports saying Apple had begun testing development using USB-C on the upcoming iPhone-as early as 2023.
Apart from the iPhone, now popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said that Apple will change the use of Ligthning on various Apple products to USB-C.
This includes AirPods wireless earphones, in addition to accessories such as the Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard and even the Magic Trackpad.
Today, they all use Ligthning -based connections. With the transition to using USB-C, Apple may be synchronizing usage on all of their products.
Apple today uses a USB-C connection on the iPad as well as the MacBook. The changes to the iPhone are expected to lead to widespread changes to various other Apple ecosystem products.
