Do This to Protect Android Phone from Hackers!

Today's hackers are getting smarter in carrying out their actions, but all will be meaningless if we, the HP owners, are also good at keeping our cellphones. Hackers are often targeted for various purposes, stealing important data, breaking into credit cards and spying activities.

To protect your cellphone from hacker attacks, Jake Moore Security Specialist at Edet shares his tips, as reported by the Mirror.

1. Don't forget to update

"First, make sure your phone is up to date with the latest operating system firmware updates which will keep your phone protected from the latest threats," said Moore.

The company must have thought long and hard about providing protection to its users. Moreover, the update is intended to 'patch' the existing security deficiencies in the previous operating system.

2. Download Password Manager

This will help control the passwords we use across many services. Password Manager can suggest strong passwords and monitor whether you are using the same password in other services.

"Download Password Manager to keep all your passwords safe and then turn on two-factor authentication on all accounts that offer it, which should be present in most apps and will keep them safe from hackers even if the password is obtained," Moore said.

3. Antivirus apps

Many antivirus vendors are making mobile applications to secure Android phones. Choose from reputable companies like Norton, Bitdefender or Kaspersky.

There's nothing wrong with reading a review of which anti-virus is the most powerful. "It's important to download an antivirus application to keep your phone safe from viruses and malware," said Moore.

4. Create a strong password

"Don't forget to have a good password on your Android phone that doesn't include anything related to yourself, such as birthdays or certain celebrations," concluded Moore.
