Facebook Application On Android Testing New Notification System

Who here has ever had a problem when using the Facebook app on an Android device? If you have never, you are in luck. This is because the Facebook app on Android is among the most problematic and inconsistent in its stability.

Throughout the use of the Facebook app, I prefer to use it on iOS. But that doesn’t mean Meta isn’t trying to provide the best for users. Even new features and functions are still provided.

The latest in a Facebook app for Android, Meta is seen testing a new notification system. When you press the bell icon to check for notifications, it will display a row of profile pictures of friends who are currently online.

It can be scrolled and when pressed, it will display the latest developments that your friends are doing on Facebook. Examples are sharing a post from another site, publishing a speech, sharing a picture and so on.

Not sure if this is temporary or a test for selected users. Because this morning, it didn’t show up on my app. Is this a feature you want or is this the way you want to see your friends progress?
