MCMC: Complaints Related to Telecommunication Services Rise Again

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission now shares that the number of complaints received related to telecommunication services is now increasing.

One of the reasons is said to be because the method of use changes from year to year. Complaints are now more focused on the quality of service offered, rather than related to coverage.

Last April alone, MCMC received around 4000 complaints related to telecommunication services. This can be said to be quite high compared to 30,000 complaints last year, including during the PKP period.

MCMC said all consumer complaints would assist MCMC, and service providers in continuing to improve and enhance the response to issues arising efficiently.
