Huawei has updated its line of laptops with several new models. Known as the Huawei Matebook 16S and Huawei Matebook D16, both are complete with Intel Gen-12 chip generation, 16GB of RAM memory and internal storage reaching 1TB.
The Huawei MateBook 16S is equipped with a 16-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2520 x 1680 pixels, a 3: 2 ratio and a screen-to-body area of 90%. Also complementing the laptop is support for a 100% sRGB color gamut with a brightness of 300nits.
Next, it comes present in three different variations with Intel Gen-12 Chip options-namely the i9-12900H, i7-12700H and i5-12500H. The GPU used is Intel Iris Xe. Then, the memory support is 16GB RAM (LPDDR5) with 512GB/1TB NVMe PCIe SSD internal storage.
Not to be missed, two speakers are included on the Huawei Sound audio system with two microphones for a clear teleconferencing experience. Other specifications include an 84Wh battery, 135W fast charging system, bluetooth 5.2 and more.
Huawei MateBook D16 is equipped with a 16-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a ratio of 16:10. Other additional features supported include support for a 100% sRGB color gamut with a brightness of 300nits. But, there is no support for touch screen offered on this laptop.
The Intel Gen-12 chip is also used with a choice of i7-12700H and i5-12500H variations, in addition to the matching Intel Iris Xe GPU. Memory is 16GB RAM and internal storage is 512GB of NVMe PCIe. The battery used is 60Wh with a 65W fast charging system.
For the price, the Huawei MateBook 16S is priced at RMB6999 (i5) (~ RM4605), RMB7999 (i7) (~ RM5266) and RMB9999 (i9) (~ RM6582). Meanwhile, the Huawei MateBook D16 is priced at RMB5699 (i5) (~ RM3752) and RMB6699 (i7) (~ RM4408).
