Instagram Will Shorten the Number of Stories Views

Instagram is testing a new layout for uploading video or photo posts in Stories. Later Instagram will limit the number of views of Stories uploaded in one day.

As is known, currently users can upload up to 100 Stories posts at once. Uploaded videos or photos will disappear within 24 hours.

Launching from 9to5mac, testing this feature was reported by Brazilian Instagram user Phil Ricelle, via his Twitter account he shared the Stories view where Instagram will only display three Stories out of the many posts shared by the account.

Users who have received the update will later have to tap the 'Show All' button to see all the stories uploaded by that account.

If you don't click the button, the user will move on to Stories on the next other person's account. This test also involved only a small group of users who received the update with the new Stories layout.

This feature also seems to be bad news for celebgrams or creators who are often able to post large amounts on their accounts in one day from activities to endorsements which will certainly have an impact on their number of viewers.

On the other hand, limiting the number of Stories displayed in the app will allow users to see more posts on other accounts more quickly if they are not interested in the content.
