Mark Zuckerberg Shows off New VR Headset, Eh Even Ridiculous

 


Mark Zuckerberg, has just revealed his newest Virtual Reality (VR) Headset, titled Project Cambria. Instead of receiving praise, on the contrary, he was mocked by netizens.

"This demo was created using the Presence Platform, which we created to help developers build mixed reality experiences, which blend the physical and virtual worlds," wrote Mark, quoted by us from his official Facebook, Monday (16/5/2022).


According to his presentation, the demo, which is called The World Beyond, will soon be released on the App Lab. Even though he said this was designed colorfully and included a variety of technologies, it didn't necessarily amaze netizens.



When viewed from the short video he shared, the Facebook CEO did look happy and happy. Some people who made comments, gave praise and encouragement, but on the other hand also gave criticism.


"Am I the only one who thinks maybe this is bad for humanity," wrote one netizen.


"Aren't smartphones and social media damaging enough?," said another.


"Now they want to really take people out of reality take people out of reality. I don't see anything good for anyone's mental health," added another.


"This reminds me of the Pokemon game in 2016," wrote another account.


"Elun Musk wants to find aliens. Mark wants to make us aliens," continued another.


"Reality is hard enough. So thank you, but I don't think so. You might lose the real world out there, if you continue to fantasize Mark," said one Facebook account.


The 56-second video shows how Mark enjoys the technology of his VR. He tries to play with cute little monsters, including creating his own world display, by throwing in several colors and scenery.


According to him, this is their latest headset after Quest 2. Which will be ready to visit fans and go on sale at the end of 2022.
