Telegram through The Open Network (TON) Foundation, announced the presence of a new feature. This feature allows 550 million users of the instant messaging application to send and receive Toncoins, as well as buy Bitcoin (BTC).
"This is a new way to send Toncoin without transaction fees, to any Telegram user. With this service, you no longer need to enter a long wallet address and wait for confirmation," wrote the TON Foundation, quoted by us from their official social media, Sunday ( 1/5/2022).
Users will be able to add a new Telegram service called Wallet. By adding the Wallet feature to the attachment, this feature can be empowered to send Toncoin to friends in contact, without transaction fees or free.
"The goal is to make sending Toncoin like sending a regular text message. We anticipate that this functionality will extend to consumer payments to businesses," said the TON Foundation.
"Thus people can easily obtain goods and services by sending Toncoins through a bot application on Telegram," he added.
From the short video shared, if users want to enjoy this feature, they must access it through the official Telegram Bot Wallet. It can provide access to buy Crypto currency with bank cards, exchange and transfer to other wallets.
How to Use Wallet on Telegram
Click the search logo at the top right.
Enter the word Wallet.
Once selected, press Start.
Select Add to Attachments Menu and click Add to Menu.
Wait for the placement process to complete and the Wallet can be used.
Then if you want to send it, select a contact.
Tap the Attachment logo at the bottom right.
Then select Wallet and enter the amount you want to send.
If you don't have Toncoin, you can buy it through the Bot Wallet earlier.
