This rented house is the place where Zuckerberg Cs gave birth to Facebook

Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerberg and some of his friends. In addition to the dorms on the Harvard campus, this one house also holds an important history in the birth of the biggest social media.

Built in 1998, this quite luxurious house has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and has been rented out since 2004. So guess who the first tenant was?

Yes, Mark Zuckerberg and other Facebook founders. At that time, Zuck who was only 19 years old came there with Dustin Moskovitz, another Facebook founder. There is also Sean Parker who was the first president of Facebook.

Judy Fusco as the owner of the house said that the three people came with the intention of renting. "Mark was standing in the front and didn't go into the house, while Sean and Dustin were on the front steps looking around," Judy said as quoted by the New York Post, Wednesday (11/5/2022).

"Without looking around first, Mark asked if they could rent. I asked what he was doing and he told me about a company called Facebook and how he plans to connect the world," added Judy.

Zuckerberg wears simple clothes in the form of black pants and a hoodie, and only wears sandals. Judy agreed to rent out her house for USD 5,500 per month. It is discovered that Zuck and his comrades were forced out of their previous rental for causing damage to the chimney.

They moved in on September 14th with several other people. "The house was full of engineers and Facebook employees," said Judy. So you could say this house is Facebook's first office.

Located in Los Altos, Silicon Valley area, this house is now for sale. The price is set at USD 5.3 million . Quite expensive, probably related to its location and history in the early journey of Facebook.
