Rumors of Xiaomi will partnering with Leica on a flagship device they have been circulating since the end of 2021. The collaboration between Leica and Huawei reportedly ended with the P50 series that has been marketed. Today, images of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra prototype device have been leaked confirming that the Leica lens system will be used by Xiaomi.
Based on the number of lenses, Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be equipped with various systems such as periscope zoom, optical zoom, laser sensor, depth and color that are quite complex. Like last year’s Ultra model, the 12 Ultra will be Xiaomi’s flagship device that will focus on the highest photographic capabilities. There is still no information on when it will be launched so far.
