Adobe Premiere Pro was updated this week to version V 22.5 with a new Workspaces feature that makes it easy for video editors to find the features they need based on the tasks they want to perform. There are presets for video editing, changing colors, audio, placing graphics, animations and more.
The application interface has also been optimized for those doing edits on small laptops. In addition, a special Workspace for vertical video editing is also included once through the update. With sharing to social media in the 9:16 vertical format on the rise, vertical video support will make it easier for video editors who have long had to set up their own workspaces manually.
Other improvements also provided are better H264/HEVC code support on computers with Apple M1 chips, RED V-RAPTOR camera support, and special effects Magnify, Replicate, Spherize, as well as GPU-supported Wave Warp.
