Who would have thought that an artist of Chris Evans' caliber would feel at home using an old phone iPhone 6S, and only now changing it to the iPhone 13.
Evans, who plays Steve Rogers aka Captain America in the Marvel film series, recently posted a photo showing that he recently switched from his iPhone 6S to the iPhone 13 (it doesn't say which version of the iPhone 13).
"RIP iPhone 6S. We had a good run. I'll miss your home button," Evans wrote in his Instagram post.
Evans admitted that he would miss the home button on the iPhone 6S. But he did not deny that the old
iPhone had many problems while he was using it. It is natural indeed, for a 2015 mobile phone.
In that post, Evans said that his iPhone 6S was difficult to charge, the photo quality was not good, until the battery suddenly dropped from 100% to 15% and suddenly died in a matter of minutes.
An actor of the caliber of Evans with a high fee could of course buy the latest iPhone, or any cell phone at a high price. But somehow he persisted with the iPhone 6S, nor is it known since when he used the iPhone 6S.
But from the Twitter post below, at least since 2020 he has been using the same iPhone.

Even though it's 7 years old, the iPhone 6S still gets the latest iOS update. But that will change when Apple releases iOS 16 next September, because Apple no longer supports the first generation iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, and iPhone 7 starting from iOS 16.
Without the support of the software, by itself there will be many applications that can no longer be updated on the cellphone. Perhaps, this is the reason Evans left the iPhone 6S and went for the iPhone 13.
