The cosmonaut on duty on the international space station (ISS) said he saw "two pairs of eyes" observing the station. Speculation then arises if there are aliens who are observing humans. Is it true?
"Progress MS-18 successfully docked and departed. But who was the stowaway watching us?" cosmonaut Sergey Korsa wrote in a tweet.
Many netizens then wrote their comments on the images shared by Korsa. There are those who are skeptical, but there are also those who are curious.
"It's just a light," said @Toxic_Dodd.
"They are components that capture light in a way that makes it look like they have eyes looking at the camera," wrote @RAMONVAZQUEZS.
Launching IFL Science, Saturday (11/5/2022) it turned out that it was only the outer component of the cargo ship that caught the light. It is understood the Progress MS-18 aircraft have supplied the ISS, including fuel, research equipment, oxygen, water and food, but that is not its only job.
These automated spacecraft are also used to correct the orbit of the ISS, either to help the ISS out of the path of ever-increasing space junk or to push the space station back when it begins to drag by firing its thrusters as it docks.
