Elon Musk alludes to TikTok destroying human civilization

Elon Musk is very active on Twitter, the social media he's about to buy. In his yet another controversial new tweet, the SpaceX and Tesla skipper alluded to TikTok. What did he write?

"Is TikTok destroying civilization? Some people think so. Or maybe social media in general," he wrote.

Elon Musk's post, as usual, received a lot of responses from netizens. Tens of thousands of comments and hundreds of thousands of Likes have been obtained.

It's not clear why Musk questioned this. Maybe it's related to the rise of hoaxes on social media or young people becoming addicted. The pros and cons also appear in the comments. Moreover, Elon Musk is also in the process of buying Twitter social media.

"It's damaging to productivity, but maybe not much different from television, it can even be mental relaxation," wrote one netizen. "Yeah right, buy TikTok too and save humanity," wrote another.

"The algorithm that TikTok uses is addictive. It recognizes you so well that it's hard to leave this application," another netizen said.

"TikTok is just like watching television, which is shorter in duration, but more addictive," said another.

Elon Musk himself is in the process of buying Twitter which is colored by various kinds of drama. He also spoke to Twitter employees for the first time.

The man who was born in South Africa seems to have presented a nightmare to the employees.

First, Elon Musk implied that layoffs would occur because there needed to be a rationalization of the number of employees and company expenses.

"Currently, costs exceed revenue. Anyone who is a significant contributor (employee-ed) shouldn't have to worry," he said.
