Horrible Scenery Robot Tank Smashing Target

In future wars, it could be that what is deployed is a robotic autonomous tank that can run on its own without the need for soldiers in it. The technology already exists, as recently demonstrated by Estonian company Milrem Robotics.

In the video that aired on YouTube, they can see their autonomous tank called Type X passing through a fairly difficult terrain. This tank has artificial intelligence technology alias AI so that it can operate on its own without human assistance.

"This tank allows soldiers to penetrate enemy defenses with minimal risk and with equal or better power (than conventional tanks)," the company claimed some time ago.

As quoted by us from Futurism, this tank navigates and detects obstacles independently thanks to its artificial intelligence. It can be installed with various types of weaponry such as cannons, missiles and even drones.

In the video, the Type X tank is paired with a 30 mm gun made by the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace. Seen that the autonomous tank is able to shoot targets which are cars and other objects with precision.

Perhaps in the future, tanks and autonomous combat vehicles of this kind will be increasingly in demand and widely used on the battlefield. Moreover, because it does not need to be controlled directly by humans, it can minimize casualties.

"You want to send this autonomous tank into the most dangerous position because there are no humans inside. Even if this tank is destroyed, everyone behind it will be safe," said Gert Henkewitz, director of Milrem.
