Last month Instagram started a new timeline test similar to Tiktok. The screen will only display one content only the user needs to scroll down to see the next content. Today Mark Zuckerberg announced the test will be further expanded to more users.
It will be given randomly to specific users and Instagram will announce feedback before this feature is continued or not. TikTok was Instagram and Facebook’s biggest competitor until Meta released a memo to offer a similar timeline on Facebook.
Will changing all apps to look like TikTok be the next app trend like all apps should have had Stories a few years ago?
