Internet Explorer's 'Graveyard' Viral Portrait in South Korea

A software engineer in South Korea built Internet Explorer's grave. The grave is in memory of a browser that is no longer supported by Microsoft.

The tombstone was designed and ordered by a software engineer Jung Ki-young, who spent 430,000 won.

Internet Explorer (IE) birth and death dates are inscribed on the tombstone. In addition there is a message that tickles and invites laughter written there. "It's really a great tool for downloading other browsers".

There is no denying that the message is true. Its popularity is overtaken by Chrome, Firefox and Opera, many users use IE to download the browser after installing Windows on their computer devices.

IE's own tombstone was placed in a cafe run by Jung's brother in Gyeongju, South Korea, and has quickly gone viral on the internet in recent days.
