LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT And RapidKL Bus Can Now Be Used For Free For One Month

 


There are many public transportation options available. With the economy opening up and workers returning to offices, the use of public transport can reduce traffic congestion, especially in the Klang Valley. In conjunction with the opening of the Putrajaya MRT Line Phase 1 today, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri announced that the LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT and RapidKL Bus services can now be used free of charge for a month.



This 30 -day free service allows people to try out for themselves the infrastructure managed by RapidKL. This, he added, would reduce the burden on the people due to the rising cost of living in recent times.


The Putrajaya MRT Line Phase One has 12 stops between Kwasa Damansara to Kampung Batu with a length of 17.5km. MRT Putrajaya Line Phase Two from Kampung Batu to Putrajaya Sentral is 98% complete with the target of operation starting in January 2023. The operating hours of this line are from 6 am to 11.30 pm. At peak times the train will arrive every 4-6 minutes and at non-peak times it is faithful 7-10 minutes.
