Mark Zuckerberg Demonstrates the Design of Several Prototypes of Meta -Produced AR Sets

Yesterday the concept design of the AR set was shown by Meta to show their vision to make metamesta a technology that is used every day. But to realize this dream, various prototypes have been produced by Meta Reality Labs with all of them not going to be offered to the public.

Even so Mark Zuckerberg said each one is like a time machine that helps to realize Meta’s dream of becoming the world’s leading metamesta company. A total of 24 prototypes were shown in various shapes and sizes.

Among the interesting is Starburst which is capable of displaying HDR images with a caption of up to 20,000 nits. It is too heavy to wear comfortably on the head and has two handlebars on the sides as well as a large cooling fan at the top.

The design of the Holocake 2 prototype is lighter and futuristic. It has a thinner design on the lens part because it uses holographic lens optical technology. This holographic lens technology was unveiled by Meta in 2020 until it looked like a regular spectacle.

Meta will share more about virtual reality technologies and their piles at the SIGGRAPH event that will take place in August. Based on the prototypes shown, Meta is indeed serious in trying to make the use of AR and VR headsets something normal resembling a work of science fiction.
