The FE series started as a tribute to fans of the Note series a few years ago. The Fan Edition was then offered at the end of the year as a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S series offered at the beginning of the year. Now there are rumors that this year the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE will not be launched.
This is according to a source quoted by the Sammobile site. No reason is given why the series will be discontinued this year but with device sales expected to decline due to the economic downturn a reduction in product production may have to be done. Samsung has already stopped the Note series to give way to the Z series. So if this news comes true even then it is not surprising.
