After briefly appearing in Vietnam, the Poco C40 was finally officially announced globally. The chipset used is surprising, not from Qualcomm, MediaTek or Unisoc.
Poco supports his new cellphone with the JR510 chipset made by JLO Technology. Ever heard of it?
A little information, JLO Technology is a semiconductor manufacturing company headquartered in Shanghai, China. JR510 itself is made with 11 nm fabrication, has eight cores.
Four of the cores run at 2.0 GHz, while the remaining four run at 1.5 GHz. With this capability, the JR510 is claimed to be equivalent to the Snapdragon 450 and Helio G35 chipsets.
Turning to the screen, the PocoC40 offers a 6.71-inch stretch with HD + resolution. Gorilla Glass is attached to the screen to protect it from scratches.
There is a 13 MP camera on the back along with a 2 MP depth sensor. While on the front there is a 5 MP camera.
The battery has a very large capacity, reaching 6,000 mAh. Poco provides 18W fast charging feature.

There is a fingerprint sensor on the back of the body. This phone also includes a 3.5 mm audio jack port and USB Type C.
This phone provides 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options, as well as the internal memory has a choice of 32 GB and 64 GB, if there is not a microSD slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The connections provided include 4G VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth. Poco C40 runs MIUI 13 based on Android 11.
This cellphone is available in Power Black, Coral Green and Poco Yellow versions. Unfortunately it is not stated how much the Poco C40 will cost, it may depend on the market in each country.
In Vietnam alone the price of the Poco C40 is priced at 3.4 million dong. This phone goes on sale in the country on June 17th.
