Apple Chip Specialist Reportedly Joins Samsung

A chip and semiconductor maker Apple has reportedly joined their closest competitor Samsung. Kim Woo-Pyeong, who has worked as a chipmaker at Apple since 2014, is joining Samsung as the new center director of chip packaging.

Before working at Apple, he worked at Texas Instrument and Qualcomm. This year Samsung became the first company to release a 3nm technology chip. This is to give more fierce competition to TSMC which is rumored to receive the contract to produce Apple's 3nm chips.
