In the middle of this year, Lenovo updated their Legion 7 and Legion 7i series of gaming laptops with new components from AMD, Intel and NVIDIA that promise an immersive gaming experience, as well as much better performance improvements than ever before.
One of the features added to this year's Legion 7 and Legion 7i laptop series is the TrueStrike keyboard developed in collaboration with force sensing technology company Peratech.
Using this force-sensing technology, four keys on the Legion 7 and Legion 7i laptops, namely WASD are seen present with pressure detection that allows the keys to be pressed slightly to activate slow movement, or full press to move in the game faster.
In a nutshell, it is seen using technology resembling an analog stick control that moves the character in the game when pushed slightly, and will become faster when the stick is pushed harder.
Peratech says that this slow motion pressure level can be modified using their Hydra UI software and comes with three basic pressure settings that can be further modified depending on your game pattern.
More interestingly, these pressure settings can also be set depending on the games being played, and will be changed automatically when those games are played.
The Lenovo Legion 7 and Legion 7i computer series powered by the latest Intel Alder Lake CPU series and AMD Ryzen 6000 have now entered selected markets, but for now it is still unknown when Lenovo Malaysia will update the laptop series for this market.
