The country's six major telecommunications companies have now agreed to acquire a stake in Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB). This matter was confirmed by the Minister of Finance, Tengku Zafrul.
With this move, now all companies are in discussions for terms related to how much to pay for access, etc. The deadline for this matter is set until August 31, 2022.
\This new development sees Celcom, Digi, YTL, Maxis, U Mobile and Telekom Malaysia agreeing to a stake in DNB.
According to previous plans, telecommunications companies are expected to start introducing 5G networks as early as September 2022, and this development is seen to be in line with it.
