Verry revealed that the previous version of the S Pen on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 can still be used on the Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, the S Pen of the S22 Ultra will not work.
"If the S Pen can't be used from the S22 Ultra. Even though the special S Pen, like the Fold 3 and also the S Pen Pro, it can be used for the inner touch screen," said Verry.
By utilizing the S Pen in Fold 4 operation, the user experience in multitasking can run comfortably, such as for drawing or taking notes.
Even so, Samsung provides the S Pen Fold Edition which can further optimize the use of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the tip of this device 1.5 mm so that it is more precise and has lower latency.
There is also a version of the S Pen Pro that is compatible with various other Galaxy devices and is BLE supported. This tool measures 173.7 mm longer and weighs 14 grams, while the S Pen Fold Edition is 132 mm long and weighs 8 grams.
