Indonesia to Host PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022

 


The world-class PUBG Mobile competition titled 2022 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC), announced a new location for the Grand Final round. The good news is that it will be held offline in Indonesia.

However, Tencent still has not disclosed detailed information regarding which region or city it will visit. They just gave a little leak, regarding when and the number of participants who will compete to be the best PUBG Mobile team in the world.


Based on our monitoring results from official social media, Monday (15/8/2022), the qualification will take place from November 2022, where all teams compete for four weeks in the PMGC League. For the total participants, there are at least 48 teams from the Regional Pro League.



Then, the top 13 teams from the PMGC League will qualify for the PMGC 2022 Grand Final. Then the other three teams, from the invitation given by Tencent, and they will compete in January 2023 in Indonesia.



What about the prizes from this competition? Tencent itself is also still keeping a secret, how much financial appreciation will be presented by them.


Meanwhile, currently another prestigious world-class event, titled 2022 PMWI, is being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The competition is divided into two types, Main Tournament (11-13 August 2022) and Afterparty Showdown (18-20 August 2022).


Indonesia itself was represented by Morph GGG in the Main Tournament. While the Afterparty Showmatch was filled by Bigetron Red Aliens.


Even so, Morph GGG had to admit the toughness of his opponents. It was evident from the match on the first day, where they were only able to sit in 12th position.


The first place was secured by Vampire Esports, a team from Thailand. The toughness of the PUBG Mobile team resulted in 1 Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD), 35 placement points, 51 elims points, and a total of 86 points.
