The microphone of the Jabra Engage 55, for example, comes with a feature that filters noise while the speaker part of this headphone also comes with an active noise cancellation feature that ensures that your calls are not disturbed by environmental noise.
These headphones also come in stereo and mono options, where the mono model will typically be used by those working in customer service centers. Especially for those who often talk about personal information of customers, these headphones come with 256bit encryption feature which is commonly used by military bodies.
This encryption feature is present when the audio data is sent from the headphones to the USB adapter connected to the computer, and will be decrypted when it is received by the listener.
These headphones come with a choice of Unified Communication or Microsoft models, where for the UC variation, where it comes with confirmation to be used together with teleconferencing software such as Google Meet, Cisco, Avaya, Zoom and so on while for the Microsoft variation, it is confirmed to be used together -similar to Microsoft Teams software.
In the meantime, Jabra also said that the Engage 55 headphones come with a connection distance of 150 meters which can also be said to be the longest of any headphone so far. It also has a battery life of 13 hours, and a charging dock is also offered along with these headphones.
The Jabra Engage 55 was initially introduced in the middle of this year, and has now entered the local market and is offered at the following prices:
