Maybank is now announcing that their web banking service, Maybank2U is experiencing temporary outages. At the time this article was written, the outage had lasted for over three hours, causing banking transactions using the website to not be carried out.

As an alternative, Maybank asks users to use the MAE application and also the MY M2U application. Maybank said they are now in the process of restoring service as soon as possible and apologize to customers for any inconvenience caused.
