MediaTek used to be a laughing stock because their cheap chips offered unsatisfactory performance compared to Qualcomm and Samsung chips. But now everything changes with Dimensity chips they are able to offer high performance. Today they also launched the MediaTek T830 chip.
The MediaTek T830 chip is for routers and 5G hotspot devices equipped with four 2.2 GHz Cortex-A55 cores which are also matched with the M80 modem. An NPU is also included.
This chip supports a 5G Sub 6Ghz network with a download speed of up to 7Gbps, an upload speed of 2.5 Gbps and can also support a WiFi 7 network. Like all the latest chips on the market, the MediaTek T830 is manufactured using 4nm technology.
