Redmi 10 is one of Xiaomi's mainstay lines in the entry level market. After launching the standard edition Redmi 10 last year, Xiaomi recently released its twin, the Redmi 10 5G.

From the name alone, it is clear that the main difference between Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 5G is the support for 5G network. But both also bring many other differences in terms of specifications and features.


Screen

Redmi 10 comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen. The screen has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.


While the Redmi 10 5G still uses an LCD panel measuring 6.58 inches and a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and a brightness level of up to 600 nits.


Camera

Redmi 10 is the first Redmi phone to carry a 50 MP camera. The main camera is equipped with an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8 MP camera for selfies.




If the Redmi 10 has four rear cameras, the Redmi 10 5G only has two rear cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. There is a 5 MP selfie camera on the front.


Chipset

Redmi 10 is the first smartphone in the world to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. This processor is combined with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal memory.


While the Redmi 10 5G carries the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC which is made with 7nm fabrication. The RAM capacity provided is up to 6GB and the internal memory offered is 128GB.


Both Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 5G are equipped with a microSD slot that can increase storage capacity up to 512GB.
