Welcoming the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram 1444 H, the Qara'a application comes with a fresh look. Not only that, this application from a startup from Pontianak, West Kalimantan has also developed artificial intelligence (AI) technology capable of correcting errors in the pronunciation of the Qur'an.
"Qara'a rejuvenates the appearance of the application and improves technology to make it easier for users to access and use the application," said Ahmad Kamel, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Qara'a.
Developer Qara'a claimed to have collected more than 20 million voice samples to improve the quality of artificial intelligence technology in correcting the pronunciation of the Qur'an. No longer word for word, but per letter that is pronounced. In order to maintain its validity, Qara'a has a team of muhafidz or clerics who are competent in the field of tahsinul Quran.
It doesn't stop there, the application, which has been used by 1 million users, now provides an English option. This step is an effort to expand into the global market.
"There are also users in America and England, but limited in Indonesian, because the previous application was only available in Indonesian. Now we provide it in English to enter the global market," explained Ahmad.

These features include a Digital Qur'an complete with asbabun nuzul and interpretations, Prayer Reminders, Islamic Articles, Location Based Services Studies, Streaming Radio Aggregators, Sirah Nabawiyah, Zakat, Morning and Evening Dhikr, Daily Prayers, Reflection Images/Quotes and Prayer Readings and Fluent.
"The Qara'a application will be the first Muslim superapp that has various features to make it easier to learn Islam and learn worship. And the main point is to make it easier to learn the Quran because you can learn from anywhere and anytime," concluded Ahmad.
