Rocket Lab Wants To Launch A Mission To The Planet Venus In Search Of Life On The Planet

Today, several missions are underway on the planet Mars to get to know the 4th planet from the solar system more closely. Apart from that, now one of the private companies, Rocket Lab also intends to launch a mission to the planet Venus in an effort to find life on the planet.

According to initial plans, this mission is expected to be launched around May 2023, and it may reach the Planet Venus around October 2023. Once there, a small probe weighing 20 kilograms will be released into the planet's atmosphere.

It is then expected to fly through the atmosphere for 5 minutes 30 seconds, before reaching the surface of the planet. All the data gathered and beamed back to Earth is expected to help in better understanding the solar system, as well as how a planet is doing. Venus is the second planet from the sun.

What is interesting about this planned mission is that it is carried out and funded entirely from the private sector in exploring new planets in the solar system.
