AMD's latest processor chip series, the AMD Ryzen 7000 is now finally available in the local market, starting with four CPU models first, including the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X and AMD Ryzen 5 7600X.
Developed using TSMC's 5nm process, AMD's latest processing chip offers greater performance than the company's previous offerings. It is also seen to be present with support for the latest technologies such as DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 data transmission technology and also a different design where it uses LGA sockets and no longer BGA as before, where the pins are now on the motherboard and no longer the CPU for AMD.
With that, a new motherboard is also needed for this processing chip, where AMD introduced the X670E, X670, B650E and B650 chipsets for this latest Zen 4 processing chip. AMD also promises that this motherboard will be supported for at least 3 years until 2025 before it may need to be replaced to support new processing chip technology.
This series of AMD Ryzen 7000 processing chips will go on sale in the local market starting September 28 at the following prices:
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X (16 cores, 32 threads) – RM3399
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X (12 cores, 24 threads)- RM2699
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X (8 cores, 16 threads) – RM1899
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (6 cores, 12 threads) – RM1399
