Today, ASUS has officially introduced their latest laptop/tablet hybrid model called ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, and with it, we can show the specifications and also the special features of this laptop in full.
Introduced as Project Precog a few years ago, ASUS has begun making their own steps in introducing a productivity device that features a foldable display design, similar to what companies such as Samsung, Huawei and Oppo have introduced through their own products.
At full size, this tablet comes with a 17.3-inch OLED display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels and can display 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut with a 60Hz refresh rate and comes with HDR 500 support.
When folded in half, this tablet comes with two 12.5-inch 3:2 displays with a resolution of 1920×1280 pixels that make this device appear with several interesting modes of use.
The tablet also comes with an ASUS ErgoSense Bluetooth keyboard, which when used with a full-sized tablet, can be connected to the device wirelessly, and when in folding mode, it comes with a strong magnet that allows it to be attached to the device, turning it into a computer riba
In terms of specifications, this laptop comes with quite powerful specifications, using an Intel Core i7-1250U processing chip, 16GB of memory and 1TB of internal storage. The tablet also comes with two Thunderbolt 4 plugs that can be used to charge the tablet and also to connect to a secondary display using a USB-C to DisplayPort cable.
The hinge on the ASUS Zenbook Fold 17 OLED has also been tested for 30 thousand hours to ensure that users of this tablet can use it in any way at any time. It passes MIL-STD-810H military standards and is guaranteed to be folded at any angle without a problem, and can be stored in any condition.
ASUS Malaysia says that the ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED hybrid foldable tablet will be offered in the Malaysian market in the fourth quarter of this year at a price of RM14,999.
