Apple Music Now Has Over 100 Million Songs In Its Catalog

Apple today announced the latest milestone through their music streaming service, reaching 100 million songs in their catalog.

It is one of the highest achievement records - especially considering the 1960s, when only around 5000 albums were produced each year.

Apple says Apple Music now has a reach in 167 countries, and various songs and music are published through it. According to Apple, every day, more than 20,000 singers and songwriters publish new songs to Apple Music.

Apple when launching Apple Music in 2015 itself included a catalog with 30 million songs through it.

In Malaysia, Apple Music is offered at a price of RM14.90 per month for individual users, or RM8.90 for students.
