BYD is one of the electric vehicle manufacturers from China, and now they have signed an agreement with Sime Darby Motors to allow Sime Darby Motors to distribute vehicles made by BYD in Malaysia.
With this collaboration, Sime Darby will first bring in the ATTO 3 car model and also the latest e6 produced by BYD.
The introduction of these two models is expected to boost the local automotive arena, especially the electric car market in Malaysia.
Sime Darby Motors' move also allows them to continue leading the electric-focused automotive arena in Malaysia.
For now, there is no definite date for the launch of these two models in Malaysia.
