Razer Edge Introduced – Android-Based Mobile Console, Supports Xbox Cloud Gaming


 The Razer Edge mobile console was launched early this morning during the Razer Con 2022 event. It is equipped with a 6.8″ AMOLED FHD+ screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon G3x Gen1 chip, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM memory, 128GB storage, a 5MP front camera and 5000 mAh battery.



It is actually a tablet with the Android operating system with which it is connected to the Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller. The Kishi V2 Pro brings haptic support on the analog stick and also shoulder buttons compared to the regular Kishi. With this Edge can be used as an Android tablet without a controller when not used for video game sessions.



Through this console, Android games can be played at the highest settings and there is also support for the Nvidia GeForce Now streaming platform, Xbox Cloud Gaming and streaming directly from the console such as Remote Play.



Edge turu is equipped with stereo speakers that support THX Spatial Audio. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack built into the Kishi V2 Pro for owners who want to use wired audio accessories. The size of the storage offered by Razer is small so the storage can be increased using a micro SD card up to 2TB.



The selling price of the Razer Edge starts from $399.99 (~RM1880) for the WiFi version and $499.99 (~RM2351) for the Founders Edition which includes a Razer Hammerhead True Wireless. Finally there is the Razer Edge 5G which supports 5G networks via eSIM but the price has not been announced.
